You find the perfect date for you and this perfect date really turns out to be another disaster because the date orders everything for you. This my be the second sign or third sign to let you know how controlling this person can be. The first initial meeting, you will not be able to tell how controlling he or she is because they hide that part of themselves until they get to know you better. Control issues stems back to childhood when a parent may constantly tell him or her to do something the child doesn’t want to do. As the child becomes older is caries over into adulthood.

If the date did not ask you what you want to order and assumes that this is what you like this is one sign of being in control. Or it can just possibly be mean that the person who is going to pay may not have enough money to get what you really want to eat. That is why it is always good to have your own money on a date. You can be polite and say that you do not want what the person has ordered for you, that you want what you like on the menu, and then reassure your date that you have your own. Be polite about it and not snobbishly and look into his or her eyes when saying it to read his or hers eyes because some dates may get the impression that since you do this that you may just have money all the time and they will try to get a date with you the next time.

You may never compromise on what movie to go see because your date may like certain type of movies and you really will not enjoy yourself on a date if you are not willing to see what this other person wants to see. And if you decide to see the movie with him or her suggest that the movie you desire to see they come back and see that one as well. But if your date says no, then cancel the date or politely ask for a rain check. This is usually done over the phone.

Doing fun this will also be difficult to achieve if the person doesn’t want to do anything fun like skating or strolling through the park. There comes a time in every person’s life when enough is enough and you have to come to your senses and think this person is never going to change and you can not change him or her. It can be also about status. If the person you are dating makes more money than you, there will be a slight control issue and the subject will continually be brought up to make you feel less that you are and you know you deserve better than that. Then you do have those with money who like to share their wealth who are not controlling.

Everything has to be right in their perfect little world and if you are not a part of the equation, you must move on. There are better things to do with your time.
